Two songs I wrote and recorded (in my own voice), We're In It, Let's Win It (pro-America) and Something To Crow About (environmental hysteria) have caught the attention of the administration's Outreach (assisting military families) program. Staff members asked if I would authorize the distribution of these songs to all Internet sites supporting our troops, as well as those with environmental concerns. Of course, I was happy to oblige.

  Comedian/Celebrity Impressionist, Johnny Counterfit
  and Vending Manufacturers, Inc. of Spanish Fort,
  Alabama, have entered into an agreement to
  manufacture, sell, and distribute the Johnny Counterfit ®
  Li’l Jukebox. The tabletop device is designed as a
  business opportunity for entrepreneurs, and features a
  coin-operated mechanism, designed like an old 1950’s
  era jukebox. 
  (Dimensions are 10 inches x 7 inches x 5 inches).

  Patrons deposit a twenty-five cent coin in the slot
  to hear a sampling of voice impressions from
  comedian Johnny Counterfit. Voices include that of
  famous singers, actors, and politicians, in comedy
  and music. An additional point-of-purchase display
  will offer full length recordings on video, cassette,
  and CD format. The display also features
  photographs of "Counterfit Characters," as well as
  his web site address, www.johnnycounterfit.com,
  and other contact information.

  Worldwide distribution is planned, with early
  interest as far away as Australia. Intended business
  locations for the Johnny Counterfit ® Li’l Jukebox
  include restaurants, retail outlets, and other high
  traffic business locales.

  Cookin' with Counterfit!
  Johnny offers an impression of his mother's cooking 
  as he contributes her Oatmeal Cake recipe in the, 
  "Stirring Up Success with a Southern Flavor" 
  cookbook by Randall Franks and Shirley Smith, 
  which benefits the "Friends of Literacy" charity.

  Johnny was mentioned in this issue of Country Weekly
  Magazine in regard to his show in Muskogee, OK with 
  country legend, George Jones.  Johnny can also be 
  heard on George Jones' album, "It Doesn't Get Any 
  Better Than This", with his Johnny Cash 'voice'. 
  Johnny Counterfit is well-known for his remarkable
  Cash impression, and was the next in line to be called 
  in to the studio after Cash could not attend the session
  due to illness.




  Johnny is honored to be published in the currently
  released book, "the Sterling Huck letters", by Sterling
  Huck.  Mr. Huck wrote a series of off-the-wall letters to
  various people/companies to see what their reaction
  would be.   In his letter to Johnny, he asked how he can
  get his impressionist-parakeet into show business; check
  out page 148 and 149 to read Johnny's response!
