The world
grieves as our nation says farewell to a great man, the 40th President of the
United States of America, Ronald Wilson Reagan. An avid horseback rider,
President Reagan pulled us up by our own bootstraps during the 1980s and made us feel proud again to be Americans; he conquered our doubts and
fears, as well as Communism, and we will always be grateful for this iconic American.
The love story between President Reagan and his wife Nancy is as legendary as
the man himself. Their story of closeness and commitment is truly
inspirational; a testament to the institution and sanctity of marriage. Comedian and celebrity impressionist, Johnny
Counterfit uses his talents to pay respect to our former leader, as he honors the former First Couple by doing what he does
best; by use of voice impression, he lends tribute in an unique way to the legacy
of the Reagan's love. With great respect for our former President, Johnny recreates Reagan's
voice by
reading what could have been Reagan's last love letter to his beloved Nancy, if
the Great Communicator were given one last chance to speak. Although no one could possibly duplicate Reagan's voice exactly,
perhaps, "The Last Love Letter" may bring comfort to those of
us who would like to 'hear'
from the Gipper one last time...
even if only in a (Johnny) 'Counterfit' way.

(written by Karen L. DeMoor on Sunday, June 6th, upon hearing of Reagan's
passing).

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Reagan Family.
Thank you for sharing a great man with us;
to quote President Bush,
"Ronald Reagan belongs to the ages now,
but we preferred it when he belonged to us."
(-During Reagan's funeral at the Washington National Cathedral
Friday, June 11th, 2004)
We will miss you, Mr. President.
